Evans won't freeze players out
Despite telling a trio of players they can leave the club, the gaffer says he'll treat everyone fairly until they get fixed up elsewhere.
Steve Evans told the clubs website this afternoon that Jamie Annerson, Ryan Cresswell and Danny Schofield can leave the club on free transfers.
"The lads have been offered the opportunity to further their careers elsewhere," Evans told Millers Player.
"Basically what I have said to the lads is that we don't see them getting the first team football that perhaps they would expect. We have to be open and honest with them, they have the options now to move on permanently, we are not going to entertain anybody taking them on loan. Every club in the Football League and Conference have been made aware that these lads are available on a free transfer, so we will see what happens.
"We will certainly treat these players right, One thing that Steve Evans does is he treats his players and staff properly."
