Cresswell in contention to start - Scott

As he continues the chase to sign a striker today, Andy Scott speaks about the decision not to send Ryan Cresswell on loan to Macclesfield Town.

Scott told the club website themillers.co.uk: "With Johnny Mullins' injury and Raynesy's suspension for Saturday clearly Ryan Cresswell comes into contention now.

"He has trained really hard and done well and I will have no hesitation in putting him in if required. The idea of getting him out on loan was to get him games but obviously that was only the case if Mullins, Raynes and Naylor were all fit.

"Fortunately he didn't go before the injury to Johnny and the red card for Michael."

Scott is still working to bolster his options at the other end of the pitch before tonights 11pm deadline.
