Cresswell delight at goal

Ryan Cresswell's last-gasp winner in Rotherham's 3-2 victory over Accrington on Saturday meant more to him than any other goal he has scored. The defender, who joined his hometown club in the summer from Bury, headed home in the 92nd minute to earn the Millers an unlikely three points. It was his fourth goal of the season, but after missing the previous three games following the death of his grandfather, Cresswell took particular enjoyment in Saturday's strike."I dedicated that goal to my granddad and it meant a lot more than any other goal I've scored and it had a little bit added spice because it was the winner," he told Press Association Sport.Rotherham fans have not been short of entertainment this term, seeing a total of 36 goals in their 12 League Two games, but Cresswell is taking no pleasure from the gluttony of goals."I hate conceding goals. I'd rather win a game 1-0 than win a game 5-4," he added. "I get just as much pride from keeping a clean sheet as I do scoring and ask every defender and they'd say the same."
