Clubs ambition sealed the deal - Agard

After finally signing for the Millers following a second stint of contract talks, Kieran Agard tells the Advertiser why he decided to join.

The 22 year-old explains: "The stadium was a big factor in me signing. It’s fantastic and a lot bigger than you expect. The fans were singing all through the game (on his debut) and my mum was watching too so it was nice to score a goal for her.

“I think I can bring a lot of pace to the side, and I can score goals. I’m naturally fit and keep myself in good shape so missing a little bit of pre-season shouldn’t be a major issue

“I did have a few League One clubs make an offer for me, but none of them could match the ambition here at Rotherham.“I’m pleased to be here and hopefully we can have a great season.”
