Be the 12th man urges Evans
Steve Evans tells todays Advertiser that the fans can really play a part again as Notts County arrive for the second round of the FA Cup tomorrow.
Ticket sales have been going well all week and Evans has urged everyone to come out and support the Millers against the League One outfit, who are unbeaten away from home since February.
Evans said: “This is as tough as they come at this level. We will have to put in our best performance of the season because we know how tough it’s going to be – you only have to look at their record.
“They’re flying at the moment, have quality players and had a good win last week to keep them up there with the leaders in League One. Notts are a strong side and want to get into the Championship.
“But we saw off Stevenage in the first round and we know Notts are beatable if we are on our game.
“They will have some great backing and I hope our fans turn up in numbers,” he added. “We need a 12th man out there in the crowd. Our crowd plays a vitally important part in what we do – the players will all tell you that.”
Tickets are available to buy online to print out or collect until midday tomorrow and fans can also buy a ticket at the stadium, but are advised to do so early to avoid queues.
