Rotherham United utility man Shaun Barker is hoping to be back in action for the Millers' next game as he returns from a knee injury.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since New Year's Day but is hopeful of being ready to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday week.
He told the club's official website: "I'm feeling much better now and hopefully I'll be back in full training on Monday with the rest of the lads and then I hope to be pushing for a game against Forest.
"It's been a bit frustrating for me particularly in view of the fact that I tried to struggle through and carry on playing when I was first feeling the problem.
"Hopefully that's now behind me."
