Rotherham United forward Richie Barker has agreed a new two-year extension to his contract to keep him at Millmoor until 2006.
The 28-year-old has been with the Millers for 18 months since his arrival from Macclesfield Town and helped the club consolidate their position in the First Division last season.
He told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have agreed the new deal.
"I am very happy here at Rotherham, which is my home town. I am well settled and my wife is happy here, so it's good news all round.
"I felt I had quite a good season last year and not so long ago I wouldn't have dreamed of playing for two seasons in Division One.
"I know the competition for the strikers' places will be tough again next season but I will give my best again."
