'Big step forward' as stadium plans submitted.

The Millers have this week submitted their plans for the new 12,000 all seater stadium on the former Guest & Chrimes site. Chairman Tony Stewart this week submitted the clubs application for planning permission for the clubs new stadium, after spending the last 5 months of displaying plans, having talks and site surveys, Tony Stewart is now hopeful that work could start on the site in readiness to take the club back to Rotherham for the 2012/13 season."This week has been another big step forward as we look to move back into Rotherham within the next two years. We are convinced that the old Guest and Chrimes foundry is the perfect location. The site ticks all the relevant boxes and I am very excited to put forward the plans that have taken months of hard work and effort to put together."
