You were too busy watching me to support your team - Paulo

Swindon boss Paulo Di Canio has a little swipe at the Millers faithful saying we we're too intrested in him to support our team.. is he right?

Talking the the advertiser, the controversial boss said; "It was difficult watching from the stands because I was speaking as if the players are next to and some fans probably thought I was mad. I was connecting with the crowd and was one a special phone speaking to the dugout. The phone had to be allowed by the Football Association, so it is not breaking the strict rule about what sort of instrument you are using."

"It was very difficult because next to me were some of the board. The fans were fine with me but when I am in that situation there can be 70,000 around me and I forget them because my passion is my passion."

"I received a fantastic reception from them (the Rotherham fans) and I would like to say thank you to everybody around me. It was a joy to go into a stadium where all the fans wave to you. But in the last four minutes they were distracted from supporting their team by concentrating on me, so it was one against 4,000. That was what I wanted; they were watching me and not supporting their team."

"This was a game that could change everything in our season. There are three or four games in a season that are key and this was one of them. It was a fantastic win and especially the way it came." he added.
