Scott sealed the loan deal for Wood until January 9th and told Millersplayer he thinks he'll be a good addition.
"I brought Sam out of non-league and he did very, very well at Brentford and was a major influence on our winning the League Two title that year.
"He's a very tenacious, hard-working player with a good left foot. He can play left-back, left-midfield and central-midfield and will play anywhere and give his all. Originally he was a wing-back but he played a lot of games left-midfield and has filled in at left-back but he's a winger by trade. But having the ability to play in several positions does help, it gies us options and he's got goals in him.
"He knows a few of the lads here and I'm sure he'll fit in with the group and I'm delighted to get him. I've been after him for a while because I've always believed he'd be a good addition to the squad," said the gaffer.
