Williams left with mixed feelings

Brett Williams says he was happy to net his first Millers goal at the weekend but was obviously disappointed with the overall result.

The lively loanee from Reading was heavily involved in the Millers impressive first half against Crawley, missing a guilt edged chance but then moments later netting the opener with a cheeky lob.

And after returning to the club for a second time after his first spell was cut short due to injury, the striker had a few mixed feelings after the 2-1 defeat.

"I`m not sure that we really picked up from conceding the equalising goal although we had a few chances in the second half and I think we were a little unlucky," he told Millersplayer.

"I`m happy with the goal and I could have scored another one as well but I`m gutted about the result. I think every player needs a run of games to get their form up. Bradford was my first game coming back to fitness from the injury and I`ve had a good run out today, it's good playing up alongside Revs (Alex Revell) so hopefully I can carry it on and get more goals."

Brett added: "When I first came here my target was to get double figures but the injury was a bit of a knock back so anywhere around seven or eight goals will be good. I just enjoy putting in a shift and a team performance."
