When i saw nearly 20,000 Millers I had a tear in my eye - Stewart

The Millers chairman Tony Stewart gives an open letter to the clubs official website, and states that recent weeks have only made his ambition stronger. Talking to the site, Tony gave the following statement.Dear fellow Miller,SUNDAY'S game was an emotional rollercoaster. The match was end-to-end and could have gone either way but unfortunately we conceded three goals and that left us with just that little bit too much to do with the time remaining. When I looked over to see the sea of red and white, close on 20,000 of our supporters at Wembley Stadium, I had a tear in my eye. The whole experience has only made me more determined that we, together, succeed in our aims and aspirations both on and off the pitch. We are making progress. The result wasn't the large stride we were hoping for but a large step nevertheless. There were many supporters at Wembley who haven't been to a Rotherham United home match for some time. I hope this has re-ignited their interest and that they consider joining us next season at Don Valley Stadium. Our pledge to all supporters is that we will continue to work at everything we do and give 100% in all areas of this club. I will work with Ronnie on assisting him in his player recruitment to bring us what we need to achieve success.Even before the play-offs, we had announced that season ticket prices will remain the same as last season. We would love to increase our season ticket holder base—they are the rock of this club, as solid a foundation as you could wish for—and the more we can attract, the better the platform we have to work on increasing attendances next season. We have proved that we can generate an atmosphere at Don Valley. The Aldershot play-off semi-final was incredible so let's all try and make that a regular occurrence next year.At the club we will all be at it day in and day out for the next two months getting everything ready for the 2010/2011 campaign. I feel the unity between club and supporters is getting much, much stronger. We're an honest bunch who put a shift in and want what you want—success.Thankyou for your great support. Enjoy your summer break and, I don't know about you, but I am champing at the bit to get stuck into next season already.Up The Millers!Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
