We're aiming for three wins - Lynch

Millers defender Mark Lynch is still looking at an outside chance of automatic promotion with nine points left to play for. Lynch has been in and out of the side through the season, but is now looking forward to the last three games playing at full-back, and the Millers gaining a maximum of nine points. The gap to Bournemouth stands at eight points but Lynch is not giving up the faint hope of getting that third spot aswell as securing the points to make sure of the play-offs.He spoke to the clubs official website and said: "You've got to look to take as many points as you possibly can, so with three games left you've got to look to take nine points. But it's obviously not as easy as that in football, so we'll take as many as we can get."We are still looking at those automatic promotion places as long as it is still mathematically possible. If not then we have the play-offs to fall back on and we definitely want to get in there if we can't get that third spot."We have had a good squad for the last two seasons and we were unfortunate last year with the points deduction. I think as long as we keep picking up points until the end of the season and get a bit of momentum going into the play-offs then anything can happen."Mark, along with the rest of the team was left disappointed after Saturday's draw with Cheltenham, adding: "It would have been great to get the three points. It is important at any stage of the season to win as many as you can, especially now. "It is a little disappointing to get just the one but we had a lot of the ball, created enough chances and played well enough to win the game. It's just a shame that it ended up as a draw."
