We have what it takes - Raynes

Defender Michael Raynes says the Millers have all the attributes for promotion. The summer signing has generally made a promising start to life with the Millers and skippered the side in last weeks draw with Barnet, but felt the need to say sorry for his performance as he gave away a second half penalty. "I was disappointed with my performance and I'd like to apologise for that. It was a frustrating game. I'll hold my hands up that it wasn't a good day but we managed to nick a point and looking at the bigger picture, we've got ten points from four games and if someone had offered that at the start then you'd have bitten their hand off. Even Man United aren't at their best every week", he told todays Tiser. He added: "I know what it takes to get out of this league and I can see a lot of signs that we are going in the right direction. In this division, if you have a solid back four and a goal scorer then that is half the battle.  “At Stockport I had the captaincy for a year there but it's not about the armband. We need 16 or 17 captains, the whole squad, if we are going to get promoted this year. People will have good days and people will have bad days and we need people to keep pushing each other and driving each other through to that finish line."
