We have to move on - Fenton

Speaking to MillersPlayer after yesterdays 3-2 playoff final defeat, defender Nick Fenton is gutted but looks to the future. "It was a lively match but pitch was poor to be honest, people were losing their footings but it must have been exciting to watch because it was end to end, chances at both ends and goals but dissapointed that Dagenham have come out on top today.""There's nothing worse than losing at Wembley, It`s my second time now and it does'nt get any easier, its not nice. But, you`ve just got to accept it and move on and hopefully next season we can do it."Nick then spoke about the goals the Millers conceded, "They were devasting, They could probably have been prevented, looking back on them but they've happened now and theres nothing we can do, we just have to look forward to next season now.""There`s nothing worse than losing a play off final at Wembley especially as everyone gave every ounce of effort out there today and no one had anything in the tank at the end. We went for it and it just wasn't to be. But, good luck to Dagenham, they deserved it and they'll be playing in League 1 next year."Nick spoke about the atmosphere in the dressing room after the game; "Everybodies devastated in there, we came here with the sole aim of winning. The winner takes all in these situations and everybodies devastated and we just want to get home now really."Nick looked forward to next season; "There are twelve lads out of contract that need's to be dealt with quickly. There's a lot of good lads there and my feelings are that a lot of them should be kept on but what is going to happen I don`t know yet so hopefully it will be cleared up soon and the gaffer can make a few signings and do whatever he has to do and thinks and then get pre-season and ready next season for another tough campaign and hopefully get promotion at the end of it.`Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges
