The Millers assistant boss Jimmy Mullen tells todays Star that striker Tom Elliott is a doubt for the weekends game against Burton Albion. Tom came off jsut after half time against Shrewsbury on Saturday and Mullen told the Star; "Tom is still struggling with his hamstring injury which he picked up at Shrewsbury, He has been receiving treatment all week from Denis Circuit but we will keep on assessing it until the Burton game.""We have not really had a chance to work with Tom in training as much as we would have liked because of his injuries. He has had these injury problems for a while but hopefully we will soon get to the bottom of it." he added.Paul Warne could well take the youngsters place with the ame probably coming a bit too soon for Tom Pope who returned from injury in last nights 4-2 reserve win over Sheffield United."Paul is 37-years-old and he ran around like a 17-year-old at Shrewsbury, He worked his socks off, making things happen for himself and for other people."It was a pleasure to watch Paul last week. He epitomises everything Ronnie and I are trying to do here. He is a very dedicated lad and he has been absolutely brilliant."
