As part of his testimonial year Paul Warne will hold a game at New York Stadium on April 30th, 2013.
The testimonial fixture will involve former playing ‘legends’ with the Rotherham team featuring many of those who appeared alongside Paul during his playing days with the Millers. Everyone who Paul has asked to be involved has said yes and they are all very much looking forward to the game.
As well of Paul himself, those who have so far confirmed their willingness to play include:
Adam Le Fondre, Alan Lee, Andy Warrington, Mike Pollitt, Mark Robins, Steve Thompson, Paul Hurst, Chris Sedgwick, Kevin Watson, Darren Garner, Chris Swailes, Guy Branston, Rob Scott, Richie Barker, Stewart Talbot, Andy Monkhouse, Leo Fortune-West, Ryan Cresswell, John Mullin, David Artell, Darren Byfield and Chris Wolstenholme (bass player with the band Muse).
It is also hoped that Howard Webb will be available to referee the game and Paul is currently in the process of confirming the final details of the opposition which will involve legends from other local teams. Paul is looking forward to seeing everybody on April 30th for what will be a great night for him and all the fans.
Ticket prices are just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions with under 8s free when accompanied by an adult.
A further announcement will be made confirming kick off time and when tickets will go on sale.
