Trio released by Millers

Goalkeeper Andy Warrington, full back Dale Tonge and forward Alec Denton have been released, whilst two first team players have been offered new deals.

Veteran stopper Warrington has been told he is surplus to the playing staff by boss Steve Evans, whilst Tonge and Denton, who spent time on loan in non-league with Stocksbridge Park Steels during the season, have also been shown the door.

Young midfielder Mitch Rose has been offered new terms along with the versatile Mark Bradley, with both expected to put pen to paper.

Earlier in the week left back Joe Skarz signed a two year deal for a nominal fee, whilst loanees Liam Ridehalgh and Daniel Kearns left the Millers following promotion to League One.

Youth team goalkeeper Tony Thompson and midfielder Nicky Walker have also been offered professional contract extensions with the club.
