The Millers reserves went down 5-0 to Hartlepool this afternoon as the problems at the back stemmed from the first team down to the second string.

The visitors ran out easy winners at Roundwood despite a Millers side featuring several first teamers and trialist Allassane N'Diaye.

However the former Crystal Palace and Southend player was substituted at half time with the Millers already three goals in arrears.

Marcus Marshall was also taken off after the break.

The visitors included former Sheffield Wednesday man Steve Haslam and James Brown, who continued his recovery from injury by getting on the scoresheet.

Team; Logan, Royles, Foster, N'Diaye, Hall, Banks, Foltyn-Brown, Marshall, Warne, Holroyd, Rose

Hartlepool; Mooney, Wright, Johnson, Rutherford, Holden, Richards, Haslam, Baldwin, Luscombe, Poole, Brown.
