The Millers want-away striker praises the new gaffer. After the sacking of previous boss Ronnie Moore, Alf foudn himseflf on the bench for a few games, until he came back into the team under new boss Andy Scott for the 2-2 draw at Aldershot in which Alfie grabbed a brace. After the game Andy Scott told the press the pair had a chat and it was a clean slate for the pair. "I think it's more me getting the best out of myself as well as the gaffer," The 24 year old striker told the PA "However, the gaffer has been good with me since he's come and shown and told me what he wants from me, which I showed in the games I played at the end of the season." he added.
