The fans are magic - Evans

After a 2nd 11k+ crowd at New York, boss Steve Evans hails the fans as magic.

Talking in todays Advertiser the gaffer said; “These Rotherham fans are magic, The singing from the start against Bradford on Saturday was outstanding. They're incredible and we need that support."

“There are a lot of grounds you go to, Bradford being one, and if you settle the game after 15 minutes they turn on them. We can't afford that to happen here, even on the bad days when we go 1-0 or 2-0 down. We need them to stay with us."

“We built that over the last two years at our previous club and they stuck with us because they always thought the team would find themselves a way back into matches. I can remember being 2-0 down at home to Wrexham in the Conference, they were flying and it could have been 5-0, but they stuck with us and we won 3-2 in the last minute."

“Rotherham supporters have been great too because they know they'll get a shift from this team every week.”
