The away support and in general has impressed me - Revell

Striker Alex Revell has been impressed with the fans so far after 462 made the trip in foul conditions to Accrington on Tuesday night. Many were housed on the exposed away terrace but remained in good voice and Revell, for one, was impressed with the support. The new recruit from Leyton Orient told the Advertiser: “I've been lucky that I've been at clubs with really good away support like Brighton but I must say that the support at Rotherham is good. “To go to Accrington in the numbers they did on a wet and blustery night and to stand on an open terrace, to give us that support was great. We need it because we want to be able to put performances on for those people who have come and watched us and they can be like our 12th man in games. They're really fighting for us and we're disappointed we didn't get the win for them but we'll go again at Torquay on Saturday now. “With the team the gaffer has put together here, we want to win every game,” he said. “We're all still getting together and I've only had three games up front with Grabs but as a team we're gelling better every game and hopefully if we can win on Saturday then that will be four points from the week and we'd be really happy with that from two tough away games. “Torquay is a long way to go for ourselves and the fans, especially after Tuesday, but the gaffer will prepare us and we can take confidence from the last two games and take that into the weekend.”
