Taylor back in training

Rotherham striker Ryan Taylor has returned to full training after a broken metatarsal. The 22-year-old picked up the injury in the club's first training session after returning from their close-season break in July. It came as a hammer blow to Taylor and boss Ronnie Moore as he ended last season in a fine run of form, which culminated in scoring both the goals in their play-off final defeat to Dagenham in May. The original diagnosis suggested Taylor may be out until November but he has recovered quicker than expected and could be in line to make a reserve-team return this week. "Ryan has been doing lots of running and he has started kicking balls," Moore said. "He might get 20 minutes on Wednesday in the reserves. I will have a chat with Ryan and the physio and see what they think."
