Sulkers won't play a part - Lidds

Andy Liddell marks the card of any players feeling sorry for themselves after the midweek loss to Shrewsbury Town saw the Millers drop to 9th place. The caretaker boss has urged his troops to just get on with the job in hand as they try and chase down a four point gap to the third automatic promotion spot in League Two.After a 3-1 defeat on Tuesday to their fellow promotion rivals, Liddell gave the players part of Wednesday off to re-group and told the Star: "I didn't like it when a manager of mine sulked and the players know I don't want anybody sulking when they're back in training today. If I see any sulkers then they won't play."I just want them ready for another committed performance when we've got Morecambe here on Saturday."The 3,400 plus crowd at DVS was generally encouraging during the week, but after the odd boo at the final whistle Lidds added: "I'll take issue with anyone who says the players didn't work hard on Tuesday. "You've got to accept that mistakes happen and get on with it."
