Evans confirmed to the clubs official website he is in talks with two forwards, with one being a young 18 year-old who would likely sign on a season long loan deal.
Steve said: "We are possibly a striker away from being ready for pre-season plus I have my eye on a couple of players who I tried to sign but they have been invited to train with two Championship clubs.
"Let us see if they become available, we would certainly have the capability to sign them if that was to happen.''
