Stewart adamant to keep 'on fire' Alfie

After rejecting bids from Sheffield Wednesday and others for the services of Adam Le Fondre, the chairman insists he's keeping the striker. The chairman today gave his clearest indication yet that he's happy not to cash in on top scorer Adam Le Fondre, despite the hot shot running into the last year of his contract. Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Tony Stewart said; "I know theres a lot of interest from the fans, a lot of interest from the manager and the chairman." "This guy is on fire, and while he's on fire we're not talking about selling this guy, we're talking about keeping him with Rotherham and making sure we have a successful season." Asked if Alf is happy with that; "Yes he does, he's part of it and he's demonstrating that on the pitch and theres more to come." Stewart said
