Steve Evans has moved to bring in 20 year old former Sheffield United striker Jordan Slew on loan from Blackburn.

Slew is set to team up with the Millers tomorrow and could feature in Saturdays game against Northampton Town.

"Jordan is a young man who I have seen produce a number of outstanding performances, I have landed him after asking the question to a number of recent Blackburn Rovers managers. Thankfully Michael Appleton has sanctioned the move." Evans said

"He is young, has explosive pace, is powerful and has a real work-ethic which I'm sure will see the Millers support take to the lad."

All at MillersMAD wish him all the best of luck.

Meanwhile defender Nicky Hunt is to stay on loan at Accrington Stanley until the end of the season. He was taken to hospital with concussion during their draw with Plymouth last Saturday.
