After missing most of the season with injury, fit again goalkeeper Scott Shearer is aiming to end the season on a high.

Shearer missed 5 months with a combination of Knee and Elbow injuries but speaking to the 'Tiser today, he's looking to make the hard work in rehab worth it by winning promotion.

“I want to play now, that's what I'm here for. I've not had the best of seasons with injury but that's past now and I'm fit and ready and it's up to me. Since October it has been very hard; I've been stressing out Denis Circuit and Paul Warne every day but they have helped me loads and got me through a bad time. With me back in the team now, it's hopefully a silver lining to a difficult season.”

“I have done a lot of work but there are some things I am still working on. It's still a gradual thing.” he added
