The gaffer is a happy man after bringing in striker Chris Holroyd. Talking to themillers.co.uk Andy Scott looks at the signing of Chris Holroyd as a good coup for the club. After beating other clubs to his signature, Scott praised Holroyds attitude during his time at Brighton where he saw himself not in the team at times. "It was a compliment to him that he wanted to get out and play and get games under his belt rather than just sitting at Brighton and kicking his heels," "We have got a hungry player and he knows that after getting a big move from Cambridge to Brighton and things not working out that he needs to get some games under his belt, and to prove to people that he was worthy of that fee in the first place. To get him on a free transfer and beat off several teams was very pleasing." "He is a very hard working centre forward. He is quick, he can play on the shoulder and he has got goals in him, He scored six goals in 12 games for Stevenage and scored for Bury. He was a little unfortunate at Brighton with the way they set up their team with one main striker because he was behind the likes of Ashley Barnes, Glenn Murray and Chris Wood so there was no shame that he didn't play." he added.
