Scott sings Di Canio's praises

Andy Scott has praised Paolo Di Canio ahead of tomorrow's clash with Swindon, despite the Italian's touchline antics back in September.

Despite Di Canio's histrionics, which caused a stir when the Millers lost 3-2 at the County Ground, Swindon have lost just one in the last 20 matches.

However Di Canio will sit in the stands tomorrow as he serves a one game touchline ban for celebrating on the pitch at Northampton.

Millers chief Scott said to todays Advertiser: "Paolo wears his heart on his sleeve. He's a bit over the top sometimes but in fairness to him, he's a good coach. He's recognised very quickly how League Two works and he's changed the way they play.

"Down there it was the Paolo Di Canio Show, but that's life. If both sides play as well as they can do this time then it will be a heck of a game.

“We've got to pick off the teams above us and Swindon are one of those teams," added Scott.
