Scott hopes Hoskins can boost firepower

The arrival on loan of teenager Sam Hoskins later today should boost the Millers attacking options, according to boss Andy Scott.

“I thought we lacked ruthlessness in the penalty area the other night against Torquay and we really should have finished off all the pressure we had,” said Scott to todays Star.

”The lad coming in is something different, he is hungry and desperate to do well.”

19 year-old Hoskins scored for Southampton's reserves on Tuesday night and travelled north yesterday afternoon to meet Millers staff.

He is likely to start on the bench at Oxford on Saturday.
