Scott hints at Alfie recall

After assessing his first weeks training, boss Andy Scott tells Radio Sheffield he has had a chat with Adam Le Fondre and says it won't be long before he's back in the side. Top scorer Le Fondre has been on the bench in recent weeks after first being rested from the squad for the game at Bradford in early March by former boss Ronnie Moore due to a spell of indifferent form. But Scott, who brought on his main goal threat last weekend against Hereford, says it won't be long before Le Fondre is back in the fold."I've had a chat with Alfie and he's been working hard in training and shown me he wants to do his best."Sometimes as a striker it's not just about goals but it's abut work rate and energy levels - he's working hard and if he keeps doing that then it won't be long before he's back in the side."The Millers face a trip to relegation threatened Northampton tomorrow night (7.45pm) and need all three points to keep their slim play-off hopes alive going into a key game with rivals Gillingham on Easter Monday.A reminder that game is 'kids for a quid' day at Don Valley.
