Scott eyes backup for Harrad

Andy Scott is searching for another striker in case the loan of Shaun Harrad cannot be extended.

Harrad is due to return to Gigg Lane soon and Scott says despite talking to Bury this week, the players future is still undecided.

He told the 'Tiser today: "Richie Barker is honest about it and has kept me informed. Shaun has got three more games and probably before that we need to know what is happening.

“We have names that can come in and help us but Shaun has done well and if we can keep him until the end of the season then he is going to have a massive impact in what we do.”

Ahead of tomorrows trip to Barnet, Scott added “I think we've lost ten games by the odd goal and that shows how close we are. We have lost 14 points in games where we feel we have been the better side. Even half of that total gets you in the play-offs.

“We've plenty of games left to show we've learnt the lessons and to finish the season in style.”
