Scott critical of FA Cup ball

The yellow ball made it's first seasonal appearance on Saturday in the Millers win at Barrow, but the gaffer was critical of it's beachball like bounce.

The Millers came back from behind to net two late goals, both coming from leading marksman Lewis Grabban, but Andy Scott wasn't happy with a number of factors.

“This new FA ball we’re using in the competition is like a beach ball,” he said to the Star.

“We had it to train with last week but it’s amazing how much different it is from the normal ball for league matches.”

Scott was also criticial of Barrow's time wasting tactics and about their players going down too easy under certain challenges, and added; “In the end we made life difficult for them and we were relentless in pursuit of victory.”
