Scott confident on Taylor knock

Rotherham manager Andy Scott is hopeful the injury which Ryan Taylor suffered in the 3-1 win over Torquay is not serious. The 23-year-old striker, who could leave the club in the summer having yet to sign a new deal, put the Millers ahead with his 11th league goal of the season, but failed to come back out for the second half after picking up a foot injury. And Scott, who celebrated his first victory as Millers manager, revealed he brought Taylor off as a precaution. "Ryan got a kick on the foot he injured at the start of the season, and with his history of metatarsal problems, we didn't want to risk him," he said. "Hopefully it'll just be a bit of bruising and he'll be ok. "He scored a good poacher's goal and the link-up play between the front two was excellent."
