Ryan Taylor's injury scare was just that and he is expected to be fit to face Stockport County on Tuesday night... Taylor limped out of the 2-0 win at Macclesfield with fears that he had injured the same foot as he broke in preseason. However an x-ray found no damage and he is expected to train boss Ronnie Moore told the Advertiser; "Ryan came in on Wednesday and said his foot was much better. He'll train today and then we'll have Saturday off and come in on Sunday and Monday so he should be OK for the Stockport game." Moore will be at Edgeley Park tomorrow as Stockport take on form team Gillingham. Peter Ward will take temporary charge of the Hatters after Paul Simpson was sacked on Tuesday after less than six months in the job."Peter Ward has taken over and he knows the club inside out. He will have them well organised and he'll get the lads going but we've won five of the last seven and we'll go there with confidence. There's a belief among the players now and we've got a good squad here." Ronnie said."We're in a good position and although we could all wish our lives away wishing it was May, it's not and there's still a lot of work to do.""It must be hard for the fringe players at the moment; people like Kevin Ellison, Danny Harrison, Mark Bradley and Paul Warne. They haven't been playing but I've got to say that their attitude and their workrate in training has been fantastic. There's never been a moan or a groan out of them and they're all ready to step in when the chance comes." Moore will be aiming to bring one maybe two new faces in before Tuesday night after Will Atkinson's 11th hour change of mind as he went to Rochdale; "We've got one or two irons in the fire and hopefully we can get someone in by Tuesday, With our captain Ryan Cresswell out, I might have been looking for a centre-half too but anyone who comes in has got to play and Nick Fenton and Johnny Mullins have been immense for us in central defence."
