Millers to monitor Worrall

Rotherham will monitor the fitness of David Worrall ahead of Shrewsbury's visit to New York.

The 23-year-old winger, who scored the winner in the Millers' 2-1 success at Crawley last week, suffered a strain during a midweek outing for the reserves but is expected to make it.

Striker Daniel Nardiello is fit and available after celebrating the birth of his daughter this week and he is likely to be on the bench.

Boss Steve Evans has no other selection concerns as his side aim to maintain their unbeaten start and register a first home win of the League One season.

Shrewsbury will be without Akwasi Asante and James Tavernier for the trip after the on-loan duo both returned to their parent clubs this week.

Striker Asante finally recovered from injury to start last weekend's 2-0 victory over Swindon but has been duly recalled by Birmingham, while defender Tavernier has gone back to Newcastle due to a metatarsal injury.

It leaves manager Graham Turner even shorter on numbers with John Marsden (foot) and Dave Winfield (hamstring) ruled out for the long-term.

Right-back Leon McSweeney, released by Leyton Orient at the end of last season, has been on trial with the Shrews this week and it remains to be seen if a deal will be done before the game.
