Selection worries for Millers

Rotherham boss Steve Evans has plenty of selection concerns for the South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield United.

Defender Kari Arnason and midfielder Michael O'Connor are on international duty with Iceland and Northern Ireland respectively so they will play no part in the unbeaten Millers' first league clash with the Blades since 2005.

Fit-again Claude Davis (illness) and recent signing Pablo Mills, returning for a second spell with the club, will battle it out for Arnason's spot in defence.

Mark Bradley (groin) is being monitored after suffering an injury in last week's win at Notts County, while David Worrall (muscle strain) and Mitch Rose (knee) are definitely out.

Sheffield United will be without suspended winger Febian Brandy, plus goalkeeper George Long and midfielder Sean McGinty.

Brandy will sit out the second game of a three-match ban, while Long and McGinty are on under-21 international duty with England and the Republic of Ireland respectively.

Mark Howard will make his first league start in almost a year in Long's absence after stepping in for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shoot-out win against Scunthorpe in midweek.

Midfielder Nathan Doyle, defender Matt Hill, winger Jamie Murphy, plus strikers Lyle Taylor and Jose Baxter all return to contention after being rested on Tuesday, while new signings Florent Cuvelier and Harry Bunn could make their league debuts.
