Millers handed triple tonic

Rotherham have been granted permission to play loanees Courtney Cameron, Jack O'Connell and Liam Ridehalgh for their FA Cup second-round tie with Notts County.

The trio, who are all on borrowed deals at New York until January, will stay in Steve Evans' squad along side fellow loanee Lee Frecklington, who played in the first-round win over Stevenage.

Frecklington is pushing for a recall to the starting XI after his back injury kept him out of last week's win at Exeter and restricted him to the bench for Tuesday's win at Accrington.

Rotherham's treatment room is still full with Scott Shearer (knee), Dale Tonge (ankle), David Noble (hamstring), Kari Arnason, Lionel Ainsworth (both shoulder), Craig Morgan (foot) and Kieran Agard (thigh) all missing, while Mitch Rose serves the second of his three-game ban.

A win would send the Millers into the third round of the world famous competition for the first time since 2004, though they come up against a Magpies side unbeaten on the road since February.

Notts County have been hit by injury and suspension.

Dean Leacock's injury-time yellow card during last weekend's 1-0 home league win over Swindon was his fifth of the season and he must serve a one-match ban.

He joins winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce and veteran striker Lee Hughes, who will both sit out the second game of their three-match absences, on the suspension list.

Damion Stewart could replace Leacock at centre-half if he overcomes the knee injury that has seen him miss the last two fixtures, but Carl Regan is the more likely option for manager Keith Curle.

Fellow defenders Manny Smith (knee) and Jordan Stewart (hamstring) remain sidelined.
