Davis a doubt for Millers

Rotherham have a doubt over defender Claude Davis for the visit of Dagenham.

The veteran centre-back sustained a dead leg in Tuesday's emphatic 4-0 win at Oxford and is rated at 50-50 for the New York Stadium clash.

If he does not recover, Craig Morgan could make his first appearance since November following a foot injury or Mark Bradley may come in at right-back with Johnny Mullins switching to the middle.

Winger Daniel Kearns, who is on loan from Peterborough, will also be checked as he continues his battle with a hamstring problem. Kearns has missed the last three games but is likely to be named in boss Steve Evans' matchday squad.

Evans was only able to name six substitutes at the Kassam Stadium and his squad has been further depleted after loanees Courtney Cameron and Jordan Slew returned to their parent clubs at the end of their spells.

Scott Shearer (elbow) is back in training but will not challenge Andy Warrington in goal.

The Millers are unbeaten in their last six games and are firmly in the hunt for an automatic promotion place.

Josh Scott comes back into the fold for Dagenham.

The striker has spent the past five weeks on loan at Blue Square Bet Premier side Ebbsfleet, scoring three goals in six games, but has now returned to Victoria Road and is pushing for a starting berth.

Sam Williams or Ben Strevens could well make way with the Daggers having found the net just once in the last three games.

The likes of Medy Elito, Billy Bingham and Kevin Maher are also pressing to start as Dagenham aim to reverse a run of just one win in eight games, with interim boss Wayne Burnett, boasting no fresh injury or suspension concerns, yet to taste victory in his two games at the helm.
