Millers to make changes

Rotherham will be forced into defensive changes when Crewe visit New York.

Skipper Craig Morgan serves a one-match ban for his red card against Coventry on New Year's Day while Claude Davis is in the middle of a three-match suspension.

That means new signing Miles Addison - a loan arrival from Bournemouth - and Kari Arnason will form the centre-back pairing.

Boss Steve Evans has no new injuries but has allowed Michael Tidser, David Worrall and Pablo Mills to leave the club, Matt Tubbs to return to Bournemouth at the end of his loan spell and Daniel Nardiello, Lionel Ainsworth, David Noble and Kayode Odejayi to extend their loan stays away from the club.

Adam Dugdale will be back in Crewe's squad for the first time since he was knocked unconscious during a game.

The defender was sent for a precautionary brain scan after a blow to the head in a contest just before Christmas, yet he is now back training and will be available for selection.

Last season's top scorer Mathias Pogba has an outside chance of making Steve Davis' squad for the first time all season, although his recovery from a knee injury has not been helped by the fact the midweek Cheshire Senior Cup tie with Northwitch Victoria was called off.

Midfielder George Evans is back from suspension and defender Ollie Turton (knee) is back in training. Both winger Mesca and forward Tom Hitchcock are back at Fulham and QPR after their loan deals ended, though, while teenagers Ryan Colclough (stomach) and Max Clayton (ankle) are absent again.
