Millers light for Brighton clash

Rotherham have a depleted squad for the visit of Brighton on Tuesday.

Striker Danny Ward has emerged as a doubt after his hip flexor injury flared up during Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Leeds.

Lee Frecklington, Farrend Rawson (both hamstring), Stephen Kelly (calf/knee) and Leon Best (groin) are all still absent, though Shay Facey should be okay to play after a hamstring niggle.

Lewis Buxton will still play no part as he is embroiled in a contract dispute and boss Neil Redfearn is not expecting any arrivals before the game.

Brighton hope to hand a debut to new winger Anthony Knockaert, providing international clearance comes through in time.

Boss Chris Hughton can recall goalkeeper David Stockdale, defender Bruno and midfielder Dale Stephens after resting them against Hull in the FA Cup, while on-loan Manchester United striker James Wilson returns after he was denied permission to play.

Winger Kazenga LuaLua (groin) and forward Sam Baldock (thigh) made surprise returns from long spells out as subs on Saturday and could be involved again.

But Uwe Hunemeier (groin), Gaetan Bong (thigh), Liam Rosenior and Solly March (both knee) are still missing.
