Danny Ward hoping to feature for Rotherham

Rotherham forward Danny Ward is hoping to overcome the affects of concussion in time to feature in the home game against Brentford.

Ward missed last Saturday's loss at Reading after taking a knock in the previous week's defeat at Burnley and will be monitored.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington is closing in on a return but is not expected to feature against the Bees due to the groin injury that has kept him out since the beginning of January.

Defender Stephen Kelly (knee) returned as an unused substitute last week, but Luciano Becchio (calf) is still out as Neil Warnock chases his first win in four games since taking over as manager.

Brentford boss Dean Smith has no new injury worries but may rotate his squad for their third game in a week.

Defender Andreas Bjelland remains sidelined by a long-term knee injury and striker Scott Hogan is building up his fitness after two cruciate operations.

But Smith has an otherwise fully-fit squad and plenty of options following Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Wolves.

Defender Yoann Barbet returned from suspension on the bench in midweek and will be among the players pushing for a recall.
