Wood could make Millers return

Rotherham defender Richard Wood could return to contention for the home game against Bolton.

Centre-half Wood, who last appeared at the end of August, has recovered from a knee injury, while fellow defender Kirk Broadfoot (broken collarbone) is hoping to feature for the first time since November. He was an unused substitute in the recent home defeat to Bournemouth.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington will be sidelined for another week to 10 days as he recovers from a hernia problem, but boss Steve Evans has no new injury or suspension problems.

Recent signings Connor Sammon and Zeki Fryers both made their debuts for the club against Bournemouth and look set to continue as the Millers chase their first league win in five.

Bolton are poised to sign Adam Le Fondre on loan from Cardiff but the striker will not be involved against his former club.

Andy Lonergan could reclaim his place in goal despite Adam Bogdan's heroics in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Forward Craig Davies is sidelined by a hamstring problem and midfielder Lee Chung-yong has a shin injury, although he might be fit to face Wolves on Saturday.

Zach Clough (hamstring) could return but Marc Tierney (ankle), Mark Davies and Max Clayton (both knee) remain absent.
