Triple boost for Millers

Rotherham welcome back three players for the home clash with Blackburn on Tuesday night.

Skipper Craig Morgan has served a one-match ban which caused him to miss Saturday's defeat at Ipswich, while Paul Taylor and Anthony Wordsworth return to the squad after they were ineligible to face their parent clubs at the weekend.

Midfielder Richie Smallwood will again miss out as he continues to battle a hamstring injury.

The Millers are six games without a win in all competitions - their worst run since 2011 - and boss Steve Evans is almost certain to make changes, with on-loan Luciano Becchio likely to start in attack.

Ryan Tunnicliffe will be pushing for a place in Blackburn's starting line-up after coming off the bench to score in Saturday's draw with Watford.

The 21-year-old former Manchester United trainee, who is on a season-long loan with Rovers, was previously unable to play against parent club Fulham but earlier also impressed as a substitute versus Derby.

Tom Cairney and Lee Williamson recovered from slight knocks picked up at Craven Cottage to play against the Hornets as Gary Bowyer named an unchanged first XI but a fourth game in a fortnight may require fresh legs.

Alex Baptiste had to come off at half-time over the weekend, while full-back Tommy Spurr is on the mend following a pre-season groin injury but needs more time.
