Rotherham lose out on Le Fondre

10 August 2009 01:49
Rotherham United have failed to capture the signature of Rochdale striker Adam Le Fondre. The club were unsuccessful to agree personal terms with the 22-year-old who has scored 34 goals in 90 games after joining Rochdale in 2007. The fee agreed with Rochdale was marred after the club were not prepared to meet the player's wage demands. The news broke after the Millers 1-0 league victory over Accrington Stanley.
