Ahead of tomorrows game against local neighbours Sheffield United, boss Ronnie Moore is hoping to keep his squad fit. Speaking on the official Millers website today, Ronnie was looking at giving the Blades a game, but avoiding any further injuries at all costs. "We've picked up one or two knocks, We thought Johnny Mullins would be OK for Saturday but he's trained and he's a bit stiff so I probably won't risk him. Tom Elliott felt his hamstring so he missed training this morning and I imagine he'll miss out as well. He'll have a fitness test before the game but if there's any doubt then he won't play because the most important thing is for everyone to be fit for Lincoln on the opening day." he said. "It's a pre-season game so it's more about the performance than the result, but we know we're in for a tough test.I just wish we had more players to give game time to.It looks like quite a few of them are going to have to play 90 minutes because we're short-staffed.I'm sure they're looking forward to it though - we know there will be a good crowd in and a nice atmosphere and we just need to make sure we don't get overrun because of the injuries." he added.
