Todays Rotherham Advertiser reports that Millers boss Ronnie Moore is looking to bring in West Bromwich Albions Chris Wood. Speaking to the clubs official site yesterday, Moore spkoe of his frustrations in getting a new striker in; "It's difficult to get the experience that we are looking for, especially in the striker department," "Everyone want's a striker that will score 25 goals a season but it will cost you money. We managed to get Tom Elliott in on loan and there is bags of potential to work with there, we will work hard with him and hopefully we can improve him as a player." he added. Ronnie has contacted all clubs from the Premiership to League 1 in an effort to find a player, but admitted; "We haven't had much back from it, it was mainly kids with little experience," "There might be more available a couple of games into the season because by that time clubs could have decided that some players aren't going to figure, so maybe that is when some business could be done."Meanwhile todays 'Tiser reports that Ronnie has been in talks with 26 year old Scott Vernon, and a possible loan deal for West Brom's highly rated striker Chris Wood who has had a busy summer playing for New Zealand in the World Cup."We've knocked on a lot of doors and had a lot slammed in our faces, I'm not going to sign players for the sake of it and if I have to sit tight, I'll sit tight." Ronnie told the 'Tiser. Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
