Ronnie bemoans Referee Sutton

Ronnie Moore gives his thoughts on referee Gary Sutton's performance at Accrington on Tuesday, where the Millers got the rough end of the decisions. Sutton ruled out two Millers goals with the score at 1-1, one for a controversial offside against Adam Le Fondre as the ball struck two Accy defenders and a goal for an apparent foul on home 'keeper Dean Bouzanis by Marcus Marshall. The officals said afterwards that the offside was given for the initial first-phase ball towards Le Fondre, as he hit the post from the loose ball and Craig McAllister tapped in the rebound, but Moore bit his lip tightly after the event. Speaking to the Tiser today though, Moore fumed: "Why it was ruled out for offside I don't know. I genuinely thought the referee was going to over-rule the linesman."The linesman gave the offside and he can clearly see that the lad hit the ball against his own player without any of ours being involved. The fourth official said it was a first-phase offside, but can anyone tell me why the referee went over to speak to the linesman? What was the problem? Where else do you ever see the referee come over to the linesman for an offside decision?"He'd clearly seen something that he wasn't happy with. But that's no excuse. We had the opportunity to take the lead and if we had then we'd have won the game."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
