Robins: Same pitch for both teams

Top rock band U2 had played a sell-out concert at the venue earlier in the week, leaving half of the pitch discoloured and worn - and opposite number Keith Hill made an official complaint about the surface. Adam Le Fondre and Paul Warne scored the goals for the Millers and Robins was pleased to win. Robins said: "It was the same for both teams. All over the park we competed, certainly in the first half. We harried them and caused them to make mistakes and we defended well. "That is the first time we have dominated a game against Rochdale. We had decent possession in good areas and it was pleasing to see. "We were second best in the first few minutes of the second half, but having said that it was a really good game of football, enjoyable, and I'm delighted with the three points."
